2-218 Field Artillery

Field Artillery is known as the Army's "King of Battle." The mission of the Field Artillery is to destroy, neutralize, or suppress the enemy by cannon, rocket and missile fire and to help integrate all fire support assets into combined arms operations.

The 2-218 is one of the premiere combat arms battalions in the Oregon National Guard. The battalion is headquartered in Forest Grove, with units in Portland and Mc Minnville.
