SHOES

During Operation Iraqi Freedom III, soldiers from Troop F 82 CAV were deployed to Balad, Iraq. During the year long tour in this war torn country, images not shown on the news were captured. The soldiers were sent over trained for combat, but returned as humanitarians.

During the course of the year, the soldiers gave out over 2000 pairs of shoes, along with food, water, toys and candy. This is just one of many videos captured by soldiers that shows a different side to war.
